Black Eyed Peas star Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie is set to receive the Woman of the Year Award at the 2010 Billboard Women in Music Event. The wife of "Transformers" star Josh Duhamel will accept the honor on December 2 in a ceremony which will be held in New York.
Of the honor, Fergie said as quoted by Billboard, "I am humbled and excited to accept the Billboard Woman of the Year Award. Being honored by Billboard is a great career achievement." The event comes two days after Black Eyed Peas' new album "The Beginning" hits the U.S. stores.
Billboard's annual Women in Music event celebrates the most powerful and talented women in the music business. Fergie, who lends her voice for forthcoming movie "Arthur and the Revenge of Maltazard", will join past honorees which include Beyonce Knowles, Ciara and country music veteran Reba McEntire.
Of the "Big Girls Don't Cry" hitmaker herself, Billboard's editorial director Bill Werde said, "Fergie took the music industry by storm the moment she came onto the scene, and we're thrilled to celebrate her career achievements and incredible successes over the past year by honoring her with the Billboard Woman of the Year Award."

Kelsey Grammer's Ex Shocked When Knowing He Lied About Pregnancy
Kelsey Grammer's estranged wife has blasted the actor for lying to her about impregnating his younger lover. Camille Grammer was devastated when a mutual friend told her Grammer was expecting a baby with new girlfriend, former air stewardess Kayte Walsh - but she accuses the "Frasier" star of making the news more painful by lying to her.
She tells People magazine, "I found out (through a mutual friend). I called (Grammer) and asked, 'Is this true?' We have two children together. Please let me know so I can prepare them.' And he said, 'No, I swear she's not pregnant.' I believed him. Two days later it was confirmed that she was pregnant."
Camille insists she was hurt when Walsh, 29, suffered a miscarriage soon after, adding, "You feel bad for any loss of life. I felt bad about it. You don't want to hear that happen to anyone, not matter the circumstances. And I don't begrudge Kelsey his happiness. I want him to be happy."
Nicole Kidman Was Criticied by Paulina Porizkova for Refusing to Age Gracefully
Outspoken former model Paulina Porizkova has taken aim at Nicole Kidman for refusing to age gracefully. The Aussie actress has never confirmed reports she has undergone cosmetic surgery - but Porizkova insists it's obvious she has had work done, and it's depressing that such a beauty had to go to such extremes.
Appearing on U.S. news show "Access Hollywood Live" on Wednesday, October 27, the retired model-turned-fashion blogger, 45, targeted Kidman for messing with perfection. She raged, "She annoys me because I think that she was one of the most beautiful women ever and one of the greatest actresses; I really looked up to her."
"And when you start doing this (cosmetic surgery) to what already is beautiful... I guess that kind of insecurity really disheartens me because it makes me feel like, 'Well then, what about me? If you're so beautiful and you're so perfect and you need to change that to a different kind of perfection, where does that leave the rest of us?' "
Porizkova now urges Kidman to do the honest thing and let the public know her looks aren't all her own, "When it's so obvious - when you grow that big mouth... - why not admit to it."
The ex-model insists she has never gone under the knife - but, like so many aging beauties, she often considers it. She adds, "I do nothing. I've done laser treatments, but I count that as nothing as technically it leaves you looking exactly the same."
"I've definitely had the desire (to remove wrinkles) and I battle with that desire on a daily basis because nothing ages as poorly as a beautiful woman's ego. I don't like to see it (youthful look) going away and I don't like this dragging down (of the face), and developing jowls and this weird neck thing, but it's age. At some point I've got to face it."
Tila Tequila Sued for Kidnapping
A Los Angeles photographer has filed a request for a restraining order against reality TV star Tila Tequila amid allegations she kidnapped his girlfriend and threatened to kill him. Photographer Garry Sun has filed papers in Los Angeles County Superior Court, claiming the former internet pin-up and four armed men drove to the Texas house of his alleged girlfriend, Shyla Jennings, kidnapped her and flew her to Los Angeles.
Sun claims Tila then threatened to kill Jennings and her ex if she called police. A judge has not ruled on the restraining order, but Tequila's lawyer has promptly responded to the allegations, calling them "patently absurd" and accusing Sun of filing the suit to "get back at (Tila)" after he was fired from his role on her website.
The lawyer tells TMZ, "(Sun) will undoubtedly be held accountable by appropriate authorities for making these false allegations."
Lady GaGa Opinion on Sexual Harassment
Though Lady GaGa is widely known for her scantily outfits and suggestive stage acts, the "Poker Face" hitmaker once joined forces against sexual harassment. A promo which raises awareness of sexual harassment featuring the controversial star has recently surfaced in the internet.
The more than one minute PSA shows GaGa, real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta, still years away from becoming who she is now, appearing as an ordinary school girl. The young GaGa, dressed in a white T-shirt and a skirt, is seen walking out of a classroom when a male friend suddenly puts his arm around her.
Instead of avoiding the boy, young GaGa who was accompanied by her female pal approached and told him that his advances are unwelcome. And the boy seems regretted what he has done as he is seen lowering his head in shame.
A lot different from what she is in the video, which was produced by the San Francisco-based Cerebellum Corporation, GaGa is now known for her highly sexual image. Record producer Mike Stock even said back in August, "You can't watch a Lady GaGa video with a two-year-old."

Tom Dumont and Wife Wants to Have The Third Child
No Doubt star Tom Dumont is about to add a new addition to his family. Through the band's official site, it was announced that the 42-year-old guitarist and his longtime wife Mieke are currently expecting their third child.
The announcement, which was titled "Dumont: Party of Five", read, "Tom, Mieke, Ace & Rio Dumont are happy to announce that they will be adding a new member to their family when Mieke gives birth to the couple's third child this winter!"
Dumont and Mieke, who tied the knot in 2004, have not yet shared their excitement about the pregnancy. The couple is already parents to two sons, 4-year-old Ace Joseph Dumont and 2-year-old Rio Atticus Dumont.
Beside Dumont, another No Doubt member who is also expecting a baby is bassist Tony Kanal. Kanal's girlfriend, Erin Lokitz, is currently carrying their first baby who is due in 2011. "(They are) extremely happy to announce that they are expecting their first child early next year. The couple is overwhelmed with joy and excited to meet their new little one," a statement announced Lokitz's pregnancy.

Ray Davies Wants Members of 9/11 Victims' Families to Compose Firing Squad
Rocker Ray Davies has called for the masterminds behind the 9/11 terror attacks to face a firing squad made up of members of the victims' families. The Kinks frontman wants the suspects being held at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp in Cuba to face the death penalty if they are found guilty of involvement in the September 11 atrocities.
And he wants soldiers and the families of those killed in the tragedy to act as executioner. Davies tells Uncut magazine, "I think there should be a firing squad. They should give six people bullets. Well, two of them have got bullets and the others are all blanks."
"They'll get - whoever the executioner is - a soldier, a relative of someone who was killed in 9/11, and a frequent flyer."

Kim Cattrall Blames The Failed Marriages Caused by Bad Sex
Kim Cattrall knows the importance of a satisfying love life - she blames bad sex for the breakdown of two of her marriages. The "Sex and the City" star has wed three times - she was married to Larry Davis for two years in the late 1970s, to Andre J. Lyson from 1982 to 1989, and a six-year union with Mark Levinson ended in 2004.
And she is adamant she knows why her relationships with Davis and Lyson failed - she was not compatible with them in bed. Cattrall tells Britain's The Sun, "I would constantly make excuses for bad sexual experiences. Poor sex was a factor in the first two of three marriages breaking up."
"It is one thing to have patience and build up a good sexual relationship, through love. But, with some men - I would say, in my experience, the majority of men - it is just never going to happen. I wish I had not made an orgasm my only goal. It is all about all-round sexual fulfillment."
Cattrall has also realized where she went wrong when choosing a man - because good-looking hunks are not always the best lovers. She adds, "I wish I had realized that good looks mean nothing when it comes to sex. Everyone expects great-looking guys and women to be having great sex. That's not true."
"I always had a sexy image, on camera, but I was not having a fabulous sex life. You cannot be intimate with an image. I remember going to bed with a real good-looking ladies' man, in the hope that he would teach me what I had been missing. He didn't."
'Sailing' Is the Only Song Which Rod Stewart Soberly Recorded
Rod Stewart has clear memories of recording his hit song "Sailing" - it's the only track he's ever sung without drinking booze first. The singer has confessed he suffers from nerves when he has to perform live or in the studio, and always has a drink before hitting the stage or laying down vocal tracks.
But he had to record Sailing completely sober because there was no alcohol available at the studio in Alabama - and it went on to become one of his most famous songs. Stewart tells Britain's Live magazine, "It's the only song I ever recorded without a drink inside me. My thing was always to have a little tipple before I sang; even now I'll have a Bacardi and Coke before I go on stage. It just helps."
"But 'Sailing' was recorded in Muscle Shoals, which was a dry area. The producer Tommy Dowd woke me up at ten in the morning saying, 'Get down here in half an hour; we've mixed the track and need the vocal.' I was like, 'You're joking, recording at 10.30 in the morning. I need a drink to calm the old nerves'."
"I was stuffed, because there was nothing to be had anywhere and I was terrified to sing without one. But I did and it turned out to be one of the biggest ones I ever made."
Maurice Gibb's Final Interview Is to Feature on A New Bee Gees DVD
One of late Bee Gees star Maurice Gibb's final interviews is to feature on a new DVD documentary about the singing siblings. Gibb conducted the career-encompassing chat shortly before he died in 2003 and his comments will now be part of "In Our Own Time" - a film commemorating The Bee Gees' 50th anniversary.
The film, billed as "a revealing look at the history of The Bee Gees", will be released on November 16. The project also features brand new interviews with Barry Gibb and Robin Gibb and rare live performances, TV and film clips.
"In Our Own Time" ends with reunited Bee Gees stars Barry and Robin singing new versions of their classic songs. The film will also air on TV in America four days after its release.
Jack Osbourne is Rejected to Blame Hollywood's Drink and Drug Problems
Ozzy Osbourne's once-wayward son Jack Osbourne refuses to blame the Hollywood party scene for his own battles with drink and drugs, insisting he found it harder to stay sober in the U.K. The wild Tinseltown lifestyle has been held responsible for the drink and drug demons of a string of stars including Osbourne, his sister Kelly Osbourne and Lindsay Lohan - all of whom have undergone rehab to kick addictions.
But the rock heir and reality TV star insists there's a bigger drinking problem in his native Britain. Osbourne says, "I actually think it's harder to avoid drinking in England. There's such a drinking culture, it's like, 'Oh it's lunchtime, let's go to the pub.' It's not like that in America."
After a stint in rehab in California for addiction to alcohol and prescription drugs, the 24 year old has been sober for seven years. He adds, "I've never had a plan, I'm just going to keep doing what I've been doing and hopefully not drink. I don't ever want to come back to rehab again."
