Oprah Winfrey Was Treated to A Massive Party

Oprah Winfrey was treated to a massive party and fireworks display in Sydney over the weekend to celebrate her talk show heading to Australia for two episodes next week. The media mogul shocked 300 audience members in September by announcing she was flying them all Down Under to celebrate her 25th and final season of the Oprah show.

She jetted out to Australia earlier this week and a huge bash was thrown in her honor at Sydney Harbor. The lavish party was hosted by New South Wales' premier Kristina Kenneally and the entertainment was provided by singer Guy Sebastian before the fireworks display.

Winfrey told reporters, "I just love it (in Sydney) and my highlight is the people really... I just feel absolutely embraced by the people, so much so that I said to the prime minister, 'Do you all have friendly school to go to?', and I really do mean that, it seems to be genuine friendly. It's like everyone went to Disney class."

Peter Andre and Keisha Buchana Have A Dating

Australian singer Peter Andre is dating former Sugababes star Keisha Buchanan, according to a U.K. report. The "Mysterious Girl" hitmaker split from model Katie Price in May 2009, with their divorce being finalised in September the same year.

Andre has remained single since then. Buchanan, who recently parted ways with her boyfriend of two years, has become close to Andre in recent months and the pair is now dating, according to Britain's News of the World.

A source tells the publication, "Peter and Keisha love spending time with each other and there is a real chemistry between them but because of what they've been through, they're not rushing into things."

Brandi Glanville Slammed His Girlfriend LeAnn Rimes for Releasing A Song

Brandi Glanville Slammed His Girlfriend LeAnn Rimes for Releasing A Song

Eddie Cibrian's ex-wife Brandi Glanville has slammed his girlfriend LeAnn Rimes for releasing a song about cheating partners, insisting the words are "in poor taste". The country singer has been dating former "CSI: Miami" star Cibrian since last year, when they came clean about their affair and split from their respective spouses.

Earlier this week, Rimes released the single "Crazy Women", prompting speculation she is singing about Glanville in the track. She sings, "Crazy women are made by crazy men/ He cheats and lies, then plays the victim/ He don't know why they always pick them/ Crazy women, ex-wives and old girlfriends/ Keep their crazy hidden/ Till they're pushed off the deep end."

Glanville has been left unimpressed with the subject matter of the single, telling E! News, "When your cheating is the cause of a 'crazy woman's' behavior, it's in poor taste to sing about it."

Paul McCartney Will Be Gratefulto Patch up His Differences with John Lennon

Paul McCartney Will Be Gratefulto Patch up His Differences with John Lennon

Sir Paul McCartney will forever be grateful he had the chance to patch up his differences with John Lennon before his pal's untimely death, because he wouldn't have been able to live with the guilt of a broken friendship. The "Imagine" legend was shot dead by crazed fan Mark Chapman outside his New York home on December 8, 1980.

McCartney was in New York on Wednesday, December 8 to mark the 30th anniversary of his Beatles bandmate's death in his own personal way, and he insists he is still baffled by the tragedy. He tells U.S. talk show host Jimmy Fallon, "What can you say, you know, it's just so senseless. A phrase kept going in my head about the guy who killed him, Jerk of all jerks. Because you know, it's just like... I think I was deranged. It was just so, so sad because we thought John would be around forever, we'd hang."

But McCartney is thankful for one thing - making the effort to rebuild the close friendship they had shared during their youth in the months before Lennon's passing. The pair was estranged for years following the bitter break-up of The Beatles in 1970, and McCartney admits they bonded again over their love for their kids - and bread.

He says, "I think the nice thing about it though, was that we got our friendship back together. I think it'd have been really difficult because you know, we'd fought, we'd broke up, we had a lot of business problems, but since then, that point we'd started to chat on the phone."

"We'd chat about how to make bread! Just ordinary stuff, you know. He'd had a baby by then, he'd had Sean, so we could talk babies and family and bread and stuff. So that made it a little bit easier, the fact that we were buddies (when he died)."

Manny Pacquiao Hit Back at Accusing Music Executives of 'envy'

Manny Pacquiao Hit Back at Accusing Music Executives of 'envy'

Boxer Manny Pacquiao has hit back at allegations he reneged on a multi-million dollar record contract - accusing music executives of "envy". The Filipino sportsman is said to have made an agreement with bosses at RBM Group International in 2009 to record 12 tracks.

Bosses at the music company took legal action at Los Angeles County Superior Court in November accusing the boxer of failing to deliver the material. The lawsuit added that he left the company $200,000 out of pocket and caused it to lose out on profits of $10 million.

However, lawyers for Pacquiao have fired back at the allegations in their own suit, insisting RBM chiefs only paid him $40,000 up front instead of the agreed $160,000. The papers add that the failure to deliver the full amount up front meant he was no longer obliged to record the songs, and suggests RBM managers are simply jealous of his recent boxing winnings of $15 million.

Quoting a famous phrase by Saint John Chrysostom, his lawyer adds, "As a moth gnaws a garment, so doth envy consume a man."
